Working girl: classic pieces in your wadrobe

For most of people who work in the fashion industry, fashion is passion, creation and often a great fun. Fashion is of course an important part of their and everyone else's life, however there are times where style itself is more important than rocking the hottest trends of this season.
I'm talking about office wear or work wear - you can call it whatever you want but in the end we all know what it means. We all should have some classic pieces in our wardrobe, which we can't go wrong with. Even if you don't work in the office, there are situations where we have to look good and 'put together', so people can take us seriously. Yes, clothes can help you with that! Don't you believe in that? It's true. Believe me. Let's say that you need to ask you bank for a loan. Of course, your credit history and other factors matter a lot. But it doesn't mean you shouldn't put an effort when dressing yourself for a loan appointment in a bank. You want this loan, right? Then you need to appear as a trustworthy person. According to the study by Rice University in Houston, Texas cited by Brian Brady, people who are perceived to be trustworthy are more likely to have a higher credit score and pay lower interest rates on loans, and are less likely to default. So, think about it next time, and put these tracksuit bottoms at the bottom of your wardrobe!
You can take my outfit, which I wore for my bank appointment recently and wear a grey knee length dress from H&M, which I bought on sale for only... £7! I paired it with sandal heels from BHS (reduced to £20), faux pearls and a simple white bag. And VoilĂ ! As simple as that.
