L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Collection Pure Reds - Julianne's Pure Red

I love drugstore products. Mostly because I just can't afford luxury ones. However, another reason is that #drugstore #makeup companies have been improving their formulas. Currently, you can find amazing and good quality products for #affordable prices, which can truly compete with these higher-end ones.

#L'Oreal has been my favourite makeup company since I first started to experiment with makeup. L'Oreal firstly launched their Nude Lipstick Collection in collaboration with different celebrities last year, which was designed to help when choosing the right shade of a nude colour depending on a skin tone. This year, L'Oreal launched another lipstick line - Pure Reds. In the United Kingdom there are four shades to choose from: Blake's Red, Julianne's Red, Eva's Red and Liya's Red.
I picked up Julianne's Red encouraged by ViviannaDoesMakeUp after watching her video about Top New Lip Products Launches. It's a bright, cherry red with pink undertones that will look amazing on someone with pale colour eyes, like green or blue. Described as a #matte lipstick, it actually has more of a #satin finish than matte, It doesn't make my lips dry like other satin/matte lipsticks I've used before. Thanks to #jojoba oil that Pure Reds Collections was enriched with, my lips feel soft. It's very comfortable to wear. When it comes to pigmentation: I doubt you can get better and more pigmented lipstick for £6.99! Likewise, it stays on my lips for a few hours. While eating, obviously, the colour rubs out slightly, but not completely. It may need some small correction (depends on what I eat), but not re-applying.
I think that L'Oreal's collaboration with celebrities was an amazing idea. Thanks to that a lot of women will be able to choose the right lipstick colour that matches their skin tone and eye colour.
